Elton Bloye
NEUROPSYCHOLOGIST & CLINICAL MANAGER
Elton is a New Zealand registered Neuropsychologist and Clinical Psychologist. He has a passion for injury rehabilitation and has spent most of his career working in private practice and immediate post-acute neuro-rehabilitation settings. He has also led and managed psychology teams, as well as undertaken clinical supervision of Neuro- & Clinical Psychologists at various stages in their career.
Elton specialised in completing cross-cultural medico-legal neuropsychological assessments with the South African Road Accident Fund for more than 10 years, before moving to New Zealand and working in managed healthcare. He has been a consultant Neuropsychologist on 3 sports concussion management programs. Elton is an experienced clinician when providing psycho-education, short-to-medium term psychotherapy, and assisting with rehabilitation treatment plans and case management.
October 2022 sees the launch of CenPsyX Ltd., a private neuropsychology consultancy which aims to provide quality neuropsychological assessment services with a focus across the central North Island.
He values spending time with his family, and enjoys music, white water kayaking and fly fishing.
Ilse Bloye
PRACTICE MANAGER
Ilse has a background in project management & communications within the health insurance sector. Key skills include the development of business processes, implementing robust IT solutions and leading a creative team to deliver communication outcomes for marketing & sales divisions.
In 2009, Elton & Ilse established a Neuropsychology practice in Johannesburg, South Africa. It is this experience and further business studies in New Zealand that has enabled them to launch CenPsyX.
Family is her priority and design her passion. She enjoys filling her spare time with various creative pursuits.
